Event Details

This inaugural event focuses on the restoration of a turn-of-the-20th century home to its original, elegant splendor using creativity, found objects and new furnishings, while adding modern functionality and technology. The object is to highlight our local designers, landscapers, tradespeople, artists and merchants, as well as demonstrate the adaptability and beauty of an older, urban home.

Donators of products and/or services will be considered sponsors and will be given a tremendous amount of promotional consideration. A documentary will be done of the entire showhouse process from start to finish and will run on televisions throughout the house and will highlight all of the sponsors. Extensive media coverage, as well as a newly crafted website, will promote the event as well. There will also be special events before and during the showhouse that will highlight our sponsors. The showhouse will benefit the Downtown DuBois project; under the auspices of DuBois Renaissance Inc., a 501©3 organization.

Fundraising is achieved through ticket sales when the house is opened to the public. 1000-3000 people are expected to go through the home during its 3 week opening. Questions call, 375-0772
